Donald Trump was elected president of the United States of America after this Tuesday’s November 8 hard fought battle, which turned the scales in his favor exceeding the 270 votes required for holding the White House.

Thereby, the executive power will shift to the Republican Party, while the Congress – with some decisions in the ballot vote remaining- retained its position for that entity also dominating the legislative power.

A new stage sets in for the new administration’s preparation until the inauguration in Washington D.C. in a ceremony before the Congress on January 20, 2017.
