The book Fidel Castro: hero of the disinherited was presented in Paris at the headquarters of that organization

PARIS, October 10. The French intellectual Salim Lamrani presented on  Monday at the UNESCO his latest book entitled Fidel Castro: hero of the disinherited, which highlights the global significance of the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution.

PL reported that, at the headquarters in Paris of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the writer stressed the respect and admiration of the people of Latin America, Africa and Asia for Fidel, who who stood up in defence of the rights of the large majorities traditionally excluded.

The French intellectual, author of several books about Cuba, defined Fidel as the architect of national sovereignty, a great social reformer and internationalist who has always extended a generous hand to the needy people of the planet.

Cuba´s ambassador to UNESCO, Dulce Buergo, said that the presentation of the book is a celebration in the UNESCO headquarters for the 90th birthday of Fidel.
