Minister of Overseas Trade and Foreign Investment of Cuba (MINCEX), Rodrigo Malmierca Diaz will pay a working visit to the United States between February15 and 18, including leading a delegation of officials of MINCEX, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Banco Central de Cuba, the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Cuba and managers of Cuban companies.

During his stay in that country, Minister Malmierca will be received by his counterpart, Secretary of Commerce of the United States, Penny Pritzker, and with it will open the second meeting between officials from both countries to exchange about the scope of the regulations in effect of the blockade on Cuba and their impact on bilateral economic and trade ties.

He will also hold meetings with members of the Chamber of Commerce as well as representatives of business, political and academic sectors in that country. He will visit Virginia, at the invitation of the governor of that state, Terry McAuliffe, he a note on the website CubaMinrex reported.
