Many initiatives serve to remember June 14, when 172 years ago, Antonio Maceo was born; And that same day and 89 years ago, Ernesto Che Guevara de la Serna.

The group left Manzanillo on June 11 and took four long walks to Che's former camp, founded in 1957, when he headed Column 4 of the Rebel Army.

The voyage was included in a project based on simultaneously climbing several elevations in all the provinces, sponsored by the Jose Marti Cultural Society, the UJC and its student organizations and youth movements , The Ministry of the Interior and the Revolutionary Armed Forces, in addition to the Cuban Association of Radio Hams.

In the framework of the homage was also announced the call to Son los sueños todavía the first national youth workshop, dedicated to the revolutionary thinking and execution of the Heroic Guerrilla and the 19th World Festival of Youth and Students.

It can involve children and young people between 15 and 35 years of age from all over the country to discuss the validity of Che's liberating ideas for the sake of humanity; His political, philosophical, economic, military, ethical, pedagogical, humanistic and internationalist thinking.
