With a 14.5% increase as compared to last year 2016 with 4 million foreign travelers received, Cuba was confirmed as one of the most visited countries in the world.

The geographical area reported a record growth of 29 million tourists (a 4.2% rise) as reported by the Tourism Organization of the area, and the Opciones weekly magazine of the Juventud Rebelde newspaper office announced, adding that this was one of the topics included in the agenda of the recent first Association of Caribbean States (ACS) Cooperation Conference.
