Because they are children they love better, and they do it honestly. That’s why the fact that pioneers from all over the country put all their affection and admiration toward the Revolutionary Armed Forces is a proof of the Cuban military’s uniqueness and the relation with the people.

Every year the Amigos de las FAR competition called by this institution and the José Martí Pioneers Organization allows to portray that special bond awarding prizes to the letters and the most outstanding drawings.

In 2016 Marilín Zapata Reyes, Frank Ismael Pérez González, Cecilia Castillo Pérez, Víctor M. González Rojas and Ainek Velázquez López were the national prizewinners. They drew and wrote on behalf of all their comrades and represented them in the Military Parade and Rally last January 2.
