The Organizing Committee of the Central Committee of the Party, the State and Government for the funeral of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, informs the population that from November 28, from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm, on the "José Martí" Memorial, the population of the capital will be able to attend to pay homage to its leader, which will run until November 29 in the hours between 09:00 and 12:00 hours.
On November 28 and 29, between 09:00 and 22:00 hours, in the places that will be informed in a timely manner in each locality, including the capital, all Cubans will have the possibility to pay homage and sign the solemn oath to fulfil the concept of Revolution, expressed by our historic leader on May 1, 2000, as an expression of the desire to give continuity to his ideas and to our socialism.
On November 29, at 7:00 p.m., a mass event will be held in the Plaza de la Revolución "José Martí" in the capital.
The following day the transfer of his ashes will begin by the itinerary that the Caravana de la Libertad took in January 1959, until the province of Santiago de Cuba, concluding December 3.
This same day, at 19:00 hours, there will be a mass act in the Plaza "Antonio Maceo".
The burial ceremony will be held at 07:00 hours on December 4 in the cemetery of "Santa Ifigenia".
It is also reported that the Military Review and March of the fighting people for the 60th anniversary of the landing of the expeditionaries of the yacht Granma, the Day of the Revolutionary Armed Forces, is postponed until January 2, 2017.
