SANCTI SPÍRITUS.- Approaching the youth with related communication codes and involving them in actions of impact should be a priority for the most experienced people, the member of the Political Bureau and First Vice-President of the Councils of State and of Ministers, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez said during a working visit.
He also urged motivating the new generations and accompanying them in their renewal proposals, which identify with and support the country´s revolutionary process.
One example of this, in his opinion, were the nests made throughout the country by students of higher education, who crossed the geographical borders of the country through the successful use of new technologies and social networks.
Díaz-Canel insisted on taking more advantage in Sancti Spíritus of the various contents that circulate in schools, both through the Youth Club package and the Pa´ que te Eduques, both with useful and necessary information for the whole family.
During the meeting with leaders of the education sector and other leaders of the territory, the First Vice-President suggested a rethinking of the strategy to stimulate interest in enrolment in pedagogical careers, in order to gradually cover the 908 posts for teachers needed by the province.
For this purpose, he proposed to approach, without sacrificing the quality of the training, the modalities of study in the places where the students reside.
In addition, he spoke of recognizing much more those who already study or exercise, and even those who as members of the University Student Federation assume the responsibility of educating.
