Cuba and the United States Re-establish Direct Mail Service

After nearly five decades without a direct mail service available between Cuba and the US, and then to coordinate the technical, operational and security details for its implementation, on March 16, 2016, the inaugural flight will take place that will restore the direct exchange of mail between the two countries

After nearly five decades without a direct mail service available between Cuba and the United States, and then to coordinate the technical, operational and security for its implementation, on March 16, 2016, the inaugural flight will take place that will restore the direct exchange of mail between the two countries through the implementation of a pilot plan, which should be instituted on a permanent basis in the future.

 

The restoration of this service, will allow direct shipments between Cuba and the United States of correspondence, postal parcels, courier and express packages through post offices in both countries.
