The music and poetry of the troubadour Silvio Rodriguez were the perfect gift for the delegates and guests to the 10th Congress of the Young Communist League on Friday in the ‘I give you a song’ presentation by the National Symphony Orchestra and Augusto Enriquez, at the Covarrubias Hall of the National Theater of Cuba.

In the voice of Augusto they heard the anthological themes of a maestro, seasoned with the interpretive skills of the Orchestra, conducted by maestro Enrique Pérez Mesa, and the Schola Cantorum Coralina choir under the baton of Alina Orraca.

The concert, broadcast live on the Cubavisión channel, drew applause from those who enjoyed the presentation of the recorded Triptych I give a you a song, by Enriquez, with the same songs used during the national tour, which began on November 3 at Guantanamo.

Delegates and guests will enjoy today, at the Karl Marx theatre, the presentation of the album Too many reasons, a compendium of 12 works composed by prominent artists as a gift to the Congress, along with the performance of the children's theatre company La Colmenita and the Moncada group, and on Sunday they will join in the celebrations for Children's Day in the Plaza of the Revolution.
